August 07 See you later, Rebecca!Today, we had the privilege of meeting a friend, Rebecca, at her ship to say "farewell" - for a time. She'll be back after her deployment. It was such a blessing to be there - but also humbling as we saw families having to say good-bye to dad or mom for a time. We'll really miss Rebecca - the joy she has in her new faith, her hunger for truth - but we'll be growing together in Christ over the distance. Pray for her and her ship. Pray for fellowship with other believers as well as time each day she can have to be alone with the Lord. (That's not as easy as you may think!) See you again , Rebecca! We will miss you! Jamie, my step-brother and Army Doc, married Aja Ramsey this weekend in Northampton, MA, a quaint little New England college town. I met my new niece, Ella - sweet, sweet girl - and got to spend time with the rest of the Aters: Matt & family, Josh, Patrick (& his girlfriend) and Dad and Cheryl. Many of you already know this...but we are expecting another baby! After 11 years of waiting, God has blessed us with another pregnancy. Pray for Stacy as she feels pretty "yucky" these days and is very tired. Our entire family is very, very excited. This is an answer to years and years of prayers. We see God's hand and perfect timing and we are trusting Him with this precious life.
Due date: December 23 - our anniversary!
